SCOPE: BRAND ARCHITECTURE // CULTURAL POSITIONING

Argelès was commissioned to develop the foundational identity for Boil Boss (Louisiana). The objective was to transition the brand from a functional seafood utility to a cultural authority. By bypassing traditional "consumer-grade" aesthetics, the strategy repositioned the product as an essential component of Southern industrial heritage and communal ritual.

"We didn't build a brand for a product; we built a visual system for a lifestyle defined by friction, fire, and tradition."

THE STRATEGIC DEPLOYMENT

The identity was engineered to function as Infrastructure, not just marketing. This involved a deep audit of Louisiana’s industrial and culinary landscape to ensure the merch, packaging, and digital storytelling felt "Set Ready" and authentic to the source.

  • IDENTITY: A high-utility system designed for durability and industrial recognition.

  • POSITIONING: Shifted focus from "Product Features" to "Narrative Equity"—leveraging the grit of the Bayou.

  • MERCHANDISE: Developed as "Uniforms" for the culture rather than promotional apparel.

  • RESULT: A brand that occupies the space between a professional tool and a cultural landmark.

  • Working with Argelès was a high-level collaborative experience. Sally is organized, creative, and consistently delivers work of a superior standard. Throughout the project, our objectives pivoted significantly; Sally remained honest and flexible, ensuring the visual strategy evolved with the business. I am exceptionally happy with the final assets and the ongoing connection we’ve maintained
